Belle Isle, Detroit, Michigan

By creating scenes as if visualized through the eyes of others, I wish to discover new paths of ‎representation of our visual experience.  In this work I imagine what someone with double vision, sees. I hope to convey photos of surprising beauty and serenity seen by someone who is considered to have an anomaly with her ‎vision. In my mind, this is Other Vision – a different way of sharing the world and it opens new auras of beauty.

These images are of Belle Isle State Park, in Detroit. They are based upon scan of 4×5 negatives created with a view camera using a lens board with two pinholes.
