The outdoor market in Arles, France is reputed to be the largest in Europe.  Liz and I walked past magnificent displays of fruits, vegetables, breads, cheeses, fish and meat along with handicrafts and even a goat. The market arrives each Wednesday and Saturday – the latter being the larger.  The sights and smells are enticing.  I wonder if Van Gogh wandered through this market during the time he lived in Arles.
